Eid: A return

Eid (عيد) is the noun of (عاد); returned and a synonym of (عود); returning back.

There’s an arabic proverb: العود أحمد in which returning back is always more praised.

Repair and prepare! Everything is about to be fixed..cleanse your soul, your house, your clothes and your affairs. Sincerely renew your covenant with Allah and you shall find all that refreshing!

It’s a new start, a clean slide and it’s an assured hope that Allah brought to those who believe.

Mesmerise on how a journey of renewal starts with the signs of universe. The moon informs us of its new beginning.. it’s’Hilaal’ phase is the start. After darkness comes light and a white glow within appears to dominate the night. ‘Hilaal’ has a glorious entrée as if it only repents every month!

This is a glance, and here we are learning from our moon, the praised returning.
